Whether we perceive or not, this truth daily confronts us - we face enemies in this life. It's more than what we can see before us. It's more than a person who we think has wronged us. It's more than our own struggles and weaknesses we deal with, or the negative self-talk we sometimes battle within ourselves. Sometimes God will simply run a protective shield around us where nothing will be able to get through to attack us. Other times something will start to slip through and come directly against us, and at such times God will move ahead of us to root it out of our lives. That is when God will literally take our enemy head on and battle with it. In some phases of our life, God will fight the actual battle through us and at other times He will simply tell us to hold our position and Be Still., That's the time when He will move Himself to completely take out the attack against the enemy. That is when God shows us how powerful and how awesome He really is ... when He moves into the battle to personally protect us.

So, this is our EMPIRE, where GOD leads us in all our battles!

Isaiah 41:10 says, “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” Our God is the One who fights on our behalf, constantly shielding, protecting, strengthening, even when we are unaware of it. We never have to struggle to fend for ourselves, but He's with us, always, covering us, all of our days. We don't ever have to walk in fear. For when we belong to Christ, the enemy never has the final word. We are secure in God's hands and He just tells us to “Stand Firm." Whether in life, or in death, let us always be found standing firm for the cause of Christ!
